Chen Mo is a veterinarian at Heping Pet Clinic and is gifted with the ability to understand animals. He thought this was an interesting ability, until he was working overtime late one night and heard the pets in the hospital area whispering about planning a "great escape" covering the entire city. They complain about their meals, their spaying and neutering surgeries, and even more horrifyingly - pets seem to be missing one after another, and their owners think they are just "lost." Chen Mo must pretend to know nothing and find out the truth before the pets notice.
