Greek Mythology: Does the Goddess of Love Believe in True Love?

[Romance for female readers, protagonist Aphrodite, gorgeous male leads]

Warnings: Extremely outrageous. Very hard to read. Lots of headcanons.

In the simplest, most direct, objective, correct, systematic, truthful, concise, easy-to-understand, no-nonsense way possible, I’ll tell you: this is a story about resentful men fighting over one another.

If you believe true love leaves no room for anyone else, and is uniquely exclusive, who is the protagonist’s true love?

Here’s the literary-style introduction. The official introduction is in Chapter ?. I’ll update this once I’ve posted it, okay?

If I lose myself in love’s whirlpool,

where can I find you?

Don’t turn your gaze toward someone else.

You know I’m madly in love with you.

If you cast my heart aside,

how can I ever get it back?

The stars shift, the sun and moon change,

you said you loved me, but it was a lie.

The raging fire of jealousy destroys everything.

Why won’t you promise to love only me?

Love always demands too much.

The heavens and seas are boundless, yet I want you to dwell only in my heart.
