The Last Remnant!

Yu Nie: a name that begs for a beating, and a guy who does, too. At his interview, he made the examiner sing “I Will Conquer You.” When he reported for duty, he wore a shoe on his left foot and a slipper on his right. His police academy roommates were each stranger than the last, and the stern-looking senior woman from the discipline committee liked tossing White Rabbit candies into his bowl. In a corner of the library, he stumbled upon an unsolved case from five years ago. Pointing at a crime-scene photo, he asked, “How come there are footprints in the camera's blind spot?” It caught the attention of the provincial department's task force commander and brought a fallen police detective's case to light. A text arrived on his phone: “Don't become a cop.” Xu Pingqiu said, “You're my leftover.”
