The Roof Is Leaking, and We've Been Soaked All Our Lives.

The roof of my house keeps leaking. I've been leaking since I was born. My eldest sister also had leakage the year she was born. The three-room brick house built by my grandfather has been leaking for thirty years. On rainy days the house is filled with basins and buckets. The sound of ding-ding-dong-dong accompanies us as we grow up. My mother said that when life gets better, she will build a house. She has been waiting all her life, but her life has not gotten better.
