Gu Heng finds himself inside Classroom of the Elite as a new student in Class 1-D at Advanced Nurturing High School.
He knows what this school is best at: not nurturing geniuses, but forcing students to test, filter, and trample one another under its rules.
The good news is that he knows some of the original story's twists.
The bad news is that the future has already started to veer off course from his very first day at school.
Worse still, he can see each person's "decision-making weight" in the current situation.
He can't read minds, and he isn't all-knowing. He just has a clearer sense of:
who values their pride more than class points, who talks about cooperation while secretly looking out for themselves, and who, the more warmly they smile, the more they want to hide a knife behind your back.
And so Class D gains a second monster.
Ayanokoji is responsible for keeping himself hidden; Gu Heng is responsible for stepping into the spotlight.
His goal isn't to replace Ayanokoji, but to establish another way to win at this school:
not by crushing everyone, but by taking a scattered rabble and forging them into the toughest class of all.
It feels pretty good and worth following up. I hope the author can continue to update it and teach the few fans who can continue reading it.
Is the author lazy today? He will fall asleep before updating.
