Long, long ago, the Pokemon World was nearly destroyed by a brutal war.
To honor the humans and Pokemon who had perished in the fighting, King Astor and Zephyr created a device capable of bringing the dead back to life.
But the great war still showed no signs of ending. Consumed by rage, the king altered the sacred artifact with his own hands, turning it into a weapon. It could unleash enough power to end all war.
As the years passed, however, many details of this history were lost to the dust of time.
Three hundred years ago, in ancient Kalos, a young man named Nan Feng from the distant eastern region of Dong Qin had just graduated from Pokemon Academy. Through a program to cultivate promising young talent, he was accepted by Dr. Olivier, a renowned professor in the Kalos Region who specialized in Pokemon alchemy.
After arriving in the Kalos Region with his acceptance letter, Nan Feng met two other students who had also been accepted: Chris and Melia. He had no idea that these two outstanding companions would become the most important friends of his life.
And so began an unforgettable adventure in Kalos, as Nan Feng and his companions gradually uncovered one thrilling story after another...
