A modern ordinary person whose historical knowledge is limited to "Fusu was sentenced to death by a false imperial edict" became the eldest son of the Qin Dynasty. The Chaotang factions, Qinlu military affairs, and the situation in northern Xinjiang are completely unclear. They can't even tell who is the general Meng Tian around them and Meng Yi in the Chao Zhong.
The beginning was a doomed situation under the false imperial edict. With his self-interested instinct of "I will be anxious for whoever makes me suffer", he just stopped the envoys and made up a set of principles on the spot "If I commit suicide, the reputation of the late emperor will be ruined" to protect himself. This was the case in every step thereafter: he did not understand the strategic layout, but he was good at calculating immediate gains and losses; he did not have a great talent and far-sighted strategy, but he would never suffer any losses.
From surviving to dormant, from winning over the border people to locking up the Huns, when Zhao Gaolisi thought that the overall situation was determined, he had already accumulated 300,000 troops in northern Xinjiang, a mountain of supplies, the support of dozens of surviving clans, and a "ledict to pass on the throne of the late emperor" that no one in the world could refute.
This is not a traditional story of machinations to rule the world, but a desperate survival story in which an ordinary person relies on a set of self-interested theories to make a comeback in a certain death dilemma.
He doesn't understand tactics, he only knows how to settle accounts. There is no vision, only principles - if you suffer a loss, you will never do it.
