The bone dragon Gudelian swoops down, and Yulian confidently gives the order: “See the prettiest one? Grab them!”
But when the captive is brought back, he takes one look and gasps. A golden legend: the archmage, Icilien.
“What, are you unhappy that it’s me?”
Yulian’s legs go weak. “I-I grabbed the wrong person...”
Icilien lifts his chin and smiles with polished villainy. “Wrong person? No, you got it exactly right.”
The lich and the death knight clutch each other and sob. “It’s over! The Demon King’s castle is about to turn upside down!”
