Jiang Wang VS Shen Du
Jiang Wang grew up in a troubled household. His parents divorced, and the problems at home left him mildly depressed. He always hid behind a cold demeanor, afraid of being hurt, until Shen Du came along and changed him.
Shen Du's parents married for the sake of their families, without love between them. He had never known what it felt like to be loved and longed for affection. Then his mother's death dealt him a devastating blow, and his health rapidly deteriorated. He fell ill at the slightest provocation, developed depression, and secretly shouldered everything alone.
After his father remarried, Shen Du met Jiang Wang. They were hostile and wary of each other at first, but once Shen Du learned that Jiang Wang was just like him, he began treating him kindly and entered his life, hoping to help him find his way out and see the world beyond.
But Shen Du died on the eve of Jiang Wang's proposal.
