Harry Potter: The Weasley Twins from the East

[Harry Potter fanfiction | Original heroines | Annie x Harry Potter | Bonnie x Draco Malfoy | Eastern mysticism + Western magic]

In the summer of 1991, the Burrow welcomed a pair of mixed-blood twins from the mysterious East: Annie Weasley and Bonnie Weasley. They were about to start Hogwarts alongside their cousin Ron.

Annie, a genius who had fallen from the heights, met Harry Potter, another boy who had been raised to the throne of The Chosen One on a tide of death, applause, and flowers.

She so easily saw the unease and pain in the eyes of this thin boy.

“You don't have to become the Chosen One everyone expects you to be,” she said.

“Then you don't have to hide where no one can see you,” he replied.

A genius fallen to rock bottom and a rising Chosen One: their love was as natural and inevitable as the sun rising and returning to the horizon.

Bonnie, meanwhile, charged headlong into the Wizarding World, determined to become a second Dumbledore and the greatest white wizard of all.

Who could have guessed that Draco Malfoy would overhear her grand ambition? He sneered, “Hah. A Weasley.”

Bonnie clenched her fists until her knuckles cracked, swearing she'd teach him a lesson. And so, throughout the next seven years, whether in class, exams, or duels, she made sure to stay one step ahead of Draco.

How could a young master who had never been slighted stand for such humiliation? He tried again and again to surpass Bonnie, but all he managed was to get closer and closer to her.

So close that he could no longer control his heartbeat.

He said, “Dear Miss Weasley, would you come to the ball with me?”

(Harry/Ginny is not endgame. Ginny will get a major heroine storyline focused on her career.)
