It’s Just a Food Delivery, Why Take It This Far? You Want Me to Go Undercover?

On a night of torrential rain, I delivered a bowl of spicy hot pot to the police station when a voice suddenly exploded in my head.

[Mandatory mission: Infiltrate a Myanmar scam syndicate and rescue the hostages. Accept and receive a god-tier skill. Refuse and be immediately humanely destroyed. 10, 9, 8…]

Me: “Wait! I’m just a damn delivery guy!”

[3, 2…]

Me: “Fine! I accept!”

So I went to Myanmar wearing the face of a low-ranking scam boss.

My skills were maxed out, but I had no guts.

When the scam boss tested me, my palms were sweating, but my face stayed as calm as a seasoned pro.

After completing the mission, three years turned into three more.

I piloted speedboats beside smuggling ships,

put on an act among drug traffickers,

and played the big shot in front of human traffickers.

The villains all broke down: Who the hell is this guy?

I said, “Don’t ask me. I want to know too.”
