Su Banxia was born with superhuman strength and an enormous appetite. As soon as she was exiled to the frontier, the village chief foisted her off on a frail, lame, retired soldier.
Their dilapidated thatched hut let in the wind from every side, and there wasn't a single grain of rice in the jar. The whole village was waiting to bury the poor couple.
Su Banxia gave a cold laugh, rolled up her sleeves, and got to work!
No ox? She pulled the plow herself and turned ten acres of land in half a day!
No meat? She went into the mountains and punched a giant black bear to death. Wild boars lined up to deliver themselves next!
Relatives came to steal their grain? She uprooted a tree in the courtyard with one hand, scaring the greedy lot half to death!
The villagers were stunned. This wasn't some delicate little maid, but a fearsome goddess of slaughter descended from heaven!
Even more enviable was the supposedly crippled husband who was said to be on the verge of death. He turned out to be a jack-of-all-trades in the kitchen!
He could wash clothes, cook, and mend garments, and every day he put on a pitiful act to complain: “Wifey, they called me a cripple. I'm so scared.”
Su Banxia slapped the table. “Whoever dares bully my husband, I'll crush their skull!”
Pei Qing hid behind his fierce wife, quietly taking credit for nothing. “Living off my wife while acting like the provider. This is the life!”
Although I have only read the first few chapters, the writing is very smooth, the storyline is very exciting and interesting, and the characters have clear characteristics. It would be better if the heroine's identity in the end of the world is elaborated.
The author's writing style is very delicate and seems to be very good at planting. Why did the male protagonist change from a general to a prince later on?
Give it five stars, it's a must, I like it
