After the initial chaos, Dahe Town organized its people anew. They built high walls, stockpiled food, and kept a low profile as they bided their time.
They farmed, made rifles by hand, and used the machinery of the electrical age to advance technology in reverse, bringing back the glory of the Steam Age.
Years later, the residents of Dahe Town, carrying Maxim guns, with anti-aircraft cannons underfoot and all kinds of technology recreated, looked at the attacking natives of another world and scratched their ears.
“When we first transmigrated, you called us savages, and I let it slide. Now that my industry is thriving, what are you going to call me?”
