Journey to the West: Reborn as Sun Wukong, I'd Rather Lie Flat

Who in the world doesn’t know the Great Sage Equal to Heaven? From now on, I’ll no longer be the Victorious Fighting Buddha.

I transmigrated into Journey to the West and became the Great Sage. What am I supposed to do?

Should I follow the script and wreak Havoc in Heaven, or set out on the journey west?

My choice is to live my own life.

I opened my eyes inside a stone womb, and that was when my golden finger came online.

The thing had just fought the Great Dao and was desperately short on energy.

It took my origin as fuel, so now I have to absorb the essence of the sun and moon all over again to replenish it.

That’s why I was born five hundred years late.

I went out to sea to seek a master. I didn’t worship Bodhi; instead, I turned to Tongtian, the Heavenly Lord of the Jie Sect.

That made the Buddhist school furious.

When Sun Wukong finally arrived in Heaven, in that very moment,

every immortal and deity kept their distance from him. It wasn’t for any other reason: this monkey was simply too strong.

The Buddhist school watched Sun Wukong slip out of their control and couldn’t have been more troubled.
