He Livestreams Seances, I Call the Police

[Two Male Leads × Mystery and the Supernatural × Bickering Odd Couple × Adorable Contrast × Livestreaming]

Zhou Ping'an, 24, is a junior police officer at a local station.

His monthly salary is 3,000 yuan. His daily work consists of helping Grandpa Zhang find his cat, telling Auntie Li not to fight with the upstairs neighbors, and breaking up two market vendors who came to blows over thirty cents.

There’s a streamer in his district with tens of millions of followers. Every night, he livestreams ghost hunts and spirit summoning under the ID “Lord Yama,” and the chat is full of “Welcome, Lord Yama!”

As luck would have it, Lord Yama’s “ghost-hunting base” is right in Zhou Ping'an’s district.

So for the eleventh time, Zhou Ping'an brings him back from an abandoned hospital to the station.

In the interrogation room, one pretends to wield supernatural powers, while the other insists on getting to the bottom of things.

“You call this promoting traditional culture?”

“Then explain why someone says ‘I saw it’ after every stream.”

Zhou Ping'an doesn’t believe in ghosts or gods. He firmly believes every supernatural incident has a scientific explanation, until he discovers that viewers who leave the comment “I saw it” in the livestream are disappearing one after another.
