Invincible domination | Sharp-tongued comedy | Studying the laws of the world | Leveling up across multiple worlds
The protagonist, Mo Lin, was once a powerful cultivator at the peak of the Tribulation Transcendence Realm, famous for being “quicker with his mouth than his sword, and fiercer with his sword than thunder.” When others faced tribulation and ascended, they burned incense, bathed, and bowed to heaven and earth. Mo Lin, meanwhile, munched on spirit fruit and critiqued the heavenly lightning: “That first bolt seemed a little weak. Has the Heavenly Dao started outsourcing lately?”
But when the first tribulation bolt struck, the sky split open. The laws of another world interfered with the lightning tribulation, and instead of ascending to the Immortal Realm, Mo Lin was struck into the Pokemon world. His transmigration caused a spacetime anomaly, and the resulting energy fluctuations alerted Mewtwo. Believing Mo Lin to be an otherworldly life-form invading its world, Mewtwo came to investigate.
