Back in My County with a System, I Slept with My First Love from the Start

[Infrastructure + Career + Multiple Heroines + play the pig to eat the tiger]

Cao Kun, a young man who refuses to get caught up in the rat race, leaves a major tech company in Shenzhen and returns to his small county town.

There, he awakens a System that gives him five times the money back for every salary he pays out in the county.

So Cao Kun starts by acquiring a beef processing plant, then sets out to make the whole county prosperous and encourage young people to return home.

Employee benefits are top-notch: four days on, three days off, seven types of insurance and a housing fund, plus all kinds of allowances and bonuses as standard.

Is it inconvenient for employees’ children to get to school? He builds a kindergarten right on the factory grounds.

Has an employee been treated unfairly? He not only gives them compensation, but also creates a job for a workplace counselor.

Workdays are capped at seven hours, all 50 days of paid annual leave must be taken, and everyone shares in the company’s profits through the year-end bonus.

He builds factories, repairs roads, develops entertainment complexes, constructs shopping centers, builds schools and hospitals... and turns the county into a utopia.

From then on, home is a place that can shelter both body and soul. There’s no longer any need to yearn for some distant place.

Years later, Cao Kun, recipient of the National Economic Figure of the Year award, one of the Nation’s Top 100 Outstanding Private Entrepreneurs award, and the National Poverty Alleviation Contribution Award, stands at the podium and says: “I’ve always believed that the purpose of higher education is to help our hometowns escape poverty, not to escape our impoverished hometowns.”
