Re:Zero: Rem Steals Subaru Away, and the Death Loop Begins

After the White Whale devoured her existence, Rem listened through her fading consciousness as the hero named Natsuki Subaru told her about everything he had done in the Water Gate City.

When she opened her eyes again, she was working with her older sister at the Roswaal mansion.

At this point, her hero, Natsuki Subaru, had yet to arrive at the mansion...

Natsuki Subaru, who had somehow found himself in another world, was saved by a beautiful girl named Rem. Her beauty captivated him, her warmth made him shy, and he basked in her admiration. But she died, caught up in the misfortune of Emilia, another noble beautiful girl. Unable to control himself, Subaru took his anger out on Rem and berated her.

Emilia envied Rem, the maid. The unreserved trust between her and the boy named Natsuki Subaru, and their intimate manner with each other, made Emilia jealous. She longed for a bond like theirs, but Subaru seemed wary of her. This stark difference in his attitude made her envy gradually grow into something else.
