“Why are humans the only thing you can’t eat?”
Excerpt from “The Benevolent King’s Words on Governing the Famine-Stricken Lands, Part Three”
A conscientious entrepreneur dies of acute copper poisoning after forgetting to lock his bulletproof car, then transmigrates to another world.
An evil cult known as the Church of Redemption is devoted to summoning the great demons representing the Seven Deadly Sins to restart the world. For some reason, however, the demon of greed is missing, so they can only offer the world salvation by killing, killing, and killing.
Amid this flourishing world, where the various races love and care for one another, the cult’s demonfolk stir up trouble every few days, and monsters and magical beasts run rampant, Leile Si doesn’t feel the slightest bit anxious.
He has no idea why several noisy creatures claiming to be his familiars keep calling him “Lord Demon,” but the urgent matter at hand is to master the powerful authority tied to the combined value of all the wealth he owns.
“What do you mean, I should hurry up and gather valuable gold and jewels?”
Leile Si looks at the bustling crowd around him, baffled:
“Aren’t these all just surplus value that belongs to me?”
Many years later, when the world’s Benevolent King is asked about his early days when he was mistaken for a great demon, he shakes his head as usual and says:
“Why call me a demon? I’m just an entrepreneur who cares about the people.”
I forgot about the front, I forgot about the back, anyway it looks good, meow
Looks good, meow.
Generally speaking, the protagonist is a bit too CS. I personally don't think it's as good as the author's other books.
It's good to watch, but there aren't many people. After more than ten chapters, I'm the only one who has posted a few comments [star]
