Douluo Dalu: When Ling Deepens, the Deer Appears

Xi Wu awakened her Martial Soul with deer ears and slit pupils, and had an Innate Soul Power of level nine. Shunned by others, she fought back with pranks, turning herself into an island unto herself. An empty jar sat on her windowsill for years.

Then, at the celebration banquet for her twelfth birthday, she caught a silver-haired boy crouching in wait to stuff weeds into the old instructor's hood. She stopped and used vines to tie the instructor's shoelaces together.

From then on, the two became Spirit Hall's most troublesome prankster duo.

Every day, he left something on her windowsill: flowers, candy, leaves, notes. After nearly three years, the empty jar was overflowing.

She went from an island alone to a consecrator with someone by her side, from “I can manage on my own” to “See you tomorrow.”
