They Favor Scholars Over Soldiers? Watch Me Smash Through Three Provinces and Six Prefectures!

[Alternate History] [System] [Decisive and Ruthless] [Political Intrigue]

After transmigrating to the Great Ning Empire, Xu Tianhua becomes a third-place palace graduate. With the Left Chancellor as his mentor, he should have a brilliant future ahead of him.

Instead, the Right Chancellor schemes against him and kicks him out to serve as county magistrate on the border of Youzhou Province. He has a thousand old and infirm soldiers at his command, while tens of thousands of elite cavalry from the Jiuyou Empire are bearing down on him!

Is this a death sentence from the start?!

Ding! Qin Qiong's combat prowess has finished loading!

He tramples enemy camps beneath his horse, smashes skulls with his twin maces, and chases ten thousand soldiers for thirty li all by himself!

When the news reaches the capital, the whole court is in an uproar.

Right Chancellor Jiang Botao: “This is impossible! He's a civil official!”

Left Chancellor Zhou Huanzhang: “...That isn't what I taught him.”

The Jiuyou Empire: “Please, just transfer him somewhere else!”

A scholar who's weak at martial arts?

Sorry, but even this third-place palace graduate knows a few moves.
