Jing Yan is a fluorescent coating colorist at the national marine laboratory and can distinguish the color differences of 128 kinds of deep sea blue. Three years ago, a batch of cold-light buoys she deployed caused a serious accident during a night mission of the Navy rescue team due to deviations in color temperature. As a result, deputy captain Shen Du suffered deafness in his left ear and burnt retinas in his right eye, and retired from the front line.
Three years later, Jing Yan went to the East China Sea to take field samples to repair old buoys, and reunited with Shen Du, who was a private salvage consultant.
