Back to the Original Running Man, I Healed the Whole Internet's Regrets

[One heroine: Song Yuqi + teasing, sweet romance, and push-and-pull + childhood friends + the original Running Man cast + true to character]

Lin Haoran transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a top-tier star thanks to Blue Star’s hit entertainment works.

A year ago, he and his childhood friend Song Yuqi amicably broke up and announced an indefinite hiatus at the same time, then set off to travel the world.

But his older sister, Lin Xinyue, deceives them both.

She tells Lin Haoran, “Yuqi wants to use the chance to record Running Man to get back together with you.”

She tells Song Yuqi, “Haoran heard you’re going on Running Man and begged me through tears to get him a spot as a regular.”

Both stubbornly proud, they each think the other asked to get back together. After joining the show, they discover they’ve both been fooled.

But getting the chance to meet again makes them realize neither of them has ever moved on.

Lin Haoran uses “Heart-Healing Milk Candy” to confess his feelings to Song Yuqi, then openly dates her while wearing an “anti-paparazzi baseball cap.”

He and Song Yuqi use “Shared-Senses Candy” to taste the same ice cream flavors from afar...

After the first episode of Running Man airs, the whole internet ships them.

Lin Haoran posts a photo of Song Yuqi’s name tag with the caption:

"Quit rushing me. I’m working on it."

Song Yuqi posts a photo of Lin Haoran’s name tag and replies:

"No need to chase him. We’re on the same team."

Soon, every topic related to “Haoyu” tops the trending charts, and the entire internet crashes.

A few years later, Lin Haoran announces that he’s getting married, sending the internet into an uproar as people condemn him.

"You’re getting married? What about Yuqi?"

"You scumbag! So the “Haoyu” pairing was all a lie!"

Just then, Song Yuqi posts a photo of herself and Lin Haoran holding their marriage certificate...
