Synopsis

[Supernatural + Strong Female Lead + No Romance + Ruthless + Dark Tone + Power Struggles]

Just 36 hours ago, Shen Yuanye was an ordinary university student studying history, and a broke one at that, unable to afford tuition or even food.

Now, after only 36 hours, she has become a bona fide director-general: head of the Paranormal Investigation Bureau.

Where on earth did this whole thing come from...?

And that’s not all. The working conditions are first-rate:

Day one on the job: The previous director drops dead right in the middle of a phone call.

Day two: She discovers a problem with the files only after getting trapped in a top-tier paranormal incident.

Day three: An organization offers a billion to have Shen Yuanye killed.

Shen Yuanye: ...What do you mean, the person I’m dealing with is the head of a powerful organization backed by a top professor in the capital?!

Fine, fine, fine! You’ve got powerful connections, but I’ve got the strength to match.

Someone who emerged from her very first instance as a world-class powerhouse has no reason to bow to any authority.

From impoverished university student to director-general, from a local post to the leading star of the Celestial Star Project, her stage in the future will be the world.

Strong Female Lead, Invincible Protagonist, No Romance!!!

No quick transmigration, apocalypse, or occult stuff. And don't have the protagonist transmigrate to the past only to have to deal with the original heroine's whole family!! Sidekicks and servants are fine. If it's an invincible protagonist story, don't make them timid and cowardly. They shouldn't act so timidly and cautiously.

Nothing with characters acting obviously stupid. Even someone who doesn't think much should be able to spot it.

Female-oriented Horror Infinite-flow Novels

Can female-oriented fiction do better? Not everything has to be about romance. Romance is perfectly normal in romance novels, but in infinite-loop horror novels, why is everyone falling in love, whether with people or monsters? Can't you get by without a man?
