The Judge of the Apocalypse

The son of a wanted criminal becomes an officially registered Awakened.

Seventeen-year-old Jiang Lin lives alone, keeps to himself, and suffers from multiple personalities. He relies on medication to sleep every night.

Ten years ago, his father fled the scene of an accident, leaving Jiang Lin branded as “the murderer’s son.” Everyone thought he deserved to rot in the gutter.

A shadow of blood changed everything. It appeared when he was backed into a corner.

Then Chen Hao showed up at his door and handed him an awakening stone. “You have an ability. Come with me. We’re an official organization.”

Jiang Lin joins Noah and becomes an officially registered Awakened. Captain Jiu Ge and teammates Chen Hao, Su Yan, Lin Mo... a group of people with extraordinary abilities stand by his side. But no one knows that a power called “Original Sin” lies dormant within him, having awakened ten years ago. He has kept it hidden until everyone believes he is just an ordinary person with good luck.

“You are a truly good person.”

Jiu Ge looks at him and says this with a perfectly calm expression, not a hint of emotion in his eyes.

“That’s why I’m willing to think of you as family.”

For the first time, Jiang Lin is at a loss for words in front of someone else.

But there is one more thing he has not told anyone: the blood shadow that has followed him for ten years is slowly learning to speak.

When the abyss opens its eyes, gray rain will wash the earth clean.

This time, he stands in the rain, determined to find out who he really is.
