Siheyuan: Decorated for Valor, I Go Crazy at the First Sign of Trouble

After transmigrating to 1950, sixteen-year-old Yan Lie resolutely joins the army.

Ten years of bloodshed, a thousand brushes with death.

He earns one Special Class Merit, three First Class Merits, and eight Second Class Merits!

Bearing old wounds and the scars of war, twenty-six-year-old reconnaissance battalion commander Yan Lie is reassigned to Beijing, where he becomes deputy head of security at Hongxing Steel Mill.

He plans to take it easy and recover, but as soon as he enters the courtyard, he runs into a whole yard full of bullies.

Yi Zhonghai tries to guilt-trip him into giving up his home and supporting him in his old age?

Yan Lie answers with a slap. “I've fought the American devils. Who the hell are you?”

Jia Zhangshi throws a tantrum and demands that he support her?

Yan Lie draws his gun and presses it to her forehead. “Make one more sound, and I'll shoot you dead right here for being a spy!”

Silly Zhu wants to throw hands? I'll teach you how to behave with battlefield killing techniques!

Forget personal decency and enjoy a shameless life. Refuse to overthink things; when there's a problem, go straight off the rails.

Yan Lie: “I still have shrapnel in me, and the doctor says I can't take any stress. Anyone who makes my life difficult, I'll bury them on the spot!”

The Japanese secret police are in tears: “Run! That poisonous strategist is back, using his wife's money to wage economic warfare!”
