1959: Taking My Simpleminded Wife to the Capital

(The rating just came out and will rise. Updates are steady every day, and the author is also serializing a two-million-word novel.)

Ning Yi was leaving a foot-massage KTV

when a drunk driver in a heavy truck hit him, sending him into the body of a sixteen-year-old boy with the same name in 1959.

The boy had been lazy and greedy, and his family was poor. His parents had found him a beautiful wife.

But she was a simple-minded girl. On their wedding day, the boy and his parents drank fake liquor and died on the spot.

So the village, not wanting Ning Yi and his simple-minded wife to starve,

decided the young couple should go live with his older sister in the capital.

When they arrived, they were stunned to see their brother-in-law come to pick them up in a car.

His sister, Ning Feng, told them that her husband, Zhao Chengjun, was the deputy director of a steel mill.
