In 1982, veteran Zhu Yan returned to Xiguan, Guangzhou and found that his mother's fruit stand had been smashed. He squatted at the door of the fruit fence, wiped his face where the herbal tea had been poured, and stood up. That night, he didn't sleep.
Three months later, more than thirty people from Dazhiguang were driven out of Fangcun. Zhu Yan has three brothers - Qiang Zai who eats barbecued pork, Jian Zai who knows how to settle accounts, and Four Eyes, who is as sinister as a snake. They opened a food stall next to the fruit bar and hung up the "Yanji" sign, thinking they finally had a home.
But the world is a bottomless pit. If you stand firm, others will come to snatch you. If you don't want to fight, others will kill you. From the fruit bar to the pier, from the streets to the officialdom, the five people walked farther and farther and fell deeper and deeper. When he came back to his senses, the brothers were already enemies, face was shackles, and Xiguan was no longer Xiguan.
This is a story about "if you come out to hang out, you will have to pay it back sooner or later". There are no heroes, just a group of ordinary people who are pushed forward by the times.
That was Fangcun Fruit Bar in 1982. Everything has not started yet, everything is already determined.
