Bad news: I got hit by a truck while saving a little girl and became a two-dimensional being. Good news: I transmigrated to the world of Honkai: Star Rail, and earned a System by doing good deeds. It’s a character-play System, though. I thought I’d be taking off from the start, but my first character card turned out to be Gojo Satoru. And since I’d transmigrated to a space station, I ran into Voidrangers. I thought I was about to end up as roadkill, but then the System powered up the character card, bringing Gojo’s strength up to that of a weak Emanator. Later, I joined the Astral Express Crew and began a legendary life… maybe.
