Tens of millions of humans from Blue Star transmigrate to fragments of countless worlds.
Some build city walls and arrow towers, mine, farm, and develop their settlements.
Others form alliances, seize territory, and fight tooth and nail over resources.
All to withstand the invasion from the cultivation world.
Lin Shen is an ordinary newcomer from the tenth batch. From the start, he has a thatched hut and a token.
[Edict of Fengdu (Mythic): Can summon officials of the Underworld, recruit Yin soldiers, and build structures of the Nether Road.]
"Ordinary lords can build: wooden walls, stone houses, watchtowers..."
"The Edict of Fengdu can build: Ghost Gate, Yellow Springs Road, Hall of Yama..."
While his neighboring lords are still worrying over gathering enough stone to build a perimeter wall,
Lin Shen already has a Ghost Gate standing at the entrance to his territory.
While others are still afraid cultivators will sneak up to their doors at night and harvest their heads,
the ghost officials at Lin Shen's doorstep are already itching for action: "Get in line! One at a time!"
When the armies of the cultivation world finally bear down on them,
Lin Shen holds a bowl of Meng Po Soup in his left hand and the Book of Life and Death in his right.
"That's all? Not even enough to hit my quota."
