[Dual Male Leads | Equally Matched | Supernatural Crime Investigation]
A justice-obsessed crime squad captain who talks nonsense nonstop × a taciturn criminal with a dangerously high supernatural ability rating
The Golden Ratio serial murders have been brought to a close, but a bizarre case involving a human flower garden follows close behind.
SID detective Lu Yannan tackles several major serial cases one after another. Before he can catch his breath, an underground current sparked by a new illicit powder sweeps in.
Following the trail of goods as they change hands, he unexpectedly stumbles upon a secret supernatural research project that was supposedly shut down but is still operating behind the scenes.
People with high-level abilities keep disappearing under strange circumstances. Business interests and underground trade associations are colluding, and leads are repeatedly blocked at critical junctures.
Before the undercurrents of the anti-drug operation have even settled, the Mirror Killer resurfaces, imitating the murders.
As the cases gradually bring Lin Wu’s buried past to light, it becomes clear that every mysterious shackle on him stems from this covert research project.
One unsolved case after another erupts, and various factions maneuver against one another.
Lu Yannan and Lin Wu stand side by side as they face one predicament after another, solve serial murder cases, break through layer upon layer of obstacles, and do everything they can to uncover every hidden fact and expose the entire conspiracy to the world.
