“We are comrades in the same robes; who says we have no clothes?” Guan Wuyi’s name comes from this line.
[Light ensemble cast, no romance]
[The protagonist starts out an ordinary human, but is incredibly lucky and beautiful, because the author loves her. She grows over time, makes foolish mistakes, and faces setbacks.]
[The protagonist will experience all kinds of stories, good and bad, frustrating and exhilarating, until she truly awakens and understands where she came from.]
She only meant to make a living by “putting on a show and pretending to be supernatural,” but the System turned out to be way too reliable...
Character stats, surveillance playback, fortune colors, crime scores... The more I see, the more trouble I get into.
I started out telling fortunes and ended up uncovering clues to a murder case.
I was just an overworked wage slave trying to lie flat, but somehow I became a part-time tool for criminal investigations... Later, I even joined the unspeakable Division 688, the department rumored to handle cases that science can’t explain.
Fine. Since you’ve given me powers that keep getting more ridiculously overpowered,
then I can only
accept them all, make a fortune, and treat myself to a couple extra taro milk teas every day.
I quite like this subject matter, and the author's writing style is relatively smooth in Tomato, but the connection in a few pictures seems a bit strange. I don't understand why the protagonist suddenly participates in handling the case, and people who don't know her can get the protagonist's number and contact her. Then the video of her previous live broadcast questioning the villain should be quite famous, and she should be recognized when doing lurking missions. There are some parts where the connection feels a bit messy, but it doesn't hinder reading. Overall it's worth reading.
It's good-looking, the plot is interlocking, and it's a bit more about ancient law and metaphysics.
