Valorant: Did I Max Out My Stats?

(The rating just came out. It’ll rise later.) “Bro, is your Jett on the other team’s payroll? Their Jett’s killing you like a dog. The skill gap is astronomical!” Hearing his teammates mock him, Jiang Chi looked at his 0/4 score and had no way to defend himself. But just as the enemy Jett killed him in a one-on-one for the fifth time, a line of text suddenly appeared before his eyes: [Host detected being completely outclassed in a duel] [Diff System activated. Compensation issued, ] [You have obtained peak demon1’s aim] [Permanent mission: Diff your opponent in-game for a chance to copy one of their skills and gain base attribute points!] From then on, ranked games had a new maniac who made a point of hunting down the enemy team’s carry. You’re pulling off flashy plays? Great. Your signature move will be mine next. You’ve got insane aim? Nice. Let’s bump my headshot rate up a few more points. Every opponent Jiang Chi faced became his very own “skill supermarket.” Analysts at every major team went crazy. “This player with the ID late has a hero pool as deep as the ocean? Last week, he could only play duelists, and this week he’s using utility at a world-class level?” Then Jiang Chi outplayed a streamer known for their signature agent so badly that they broke down. “Wait, dude, you’re using my signature agent against me? Who taught you that move?!” Jiang Chi closed the stream and glanced at the list of agent specializations in his System. “Next, it’s time to show the pro scene what a whole different level of play looks like.”
