The notorious rich-girl playboy of the scene × a cold-faced rising female director. They marry first and fall in love later. They agreed to see other people, but she took it seriously.
Lu Tinglan is Tangcheng's infamous spoiled rich kid, a regular at nightclubs and an expert at romance, never short of company. But she's never truly been in love, because she lives by just six words: Don't take it seriously.
Until her family arranges a business marriage for her.
Her name is Shen Yan, a rising director from a family of equal standing. She's as cold as a slab of meat straight out of the fridge. On the day they register their marriage, they lay down three rules: see other people, don't interfere, and split up when the term is over.
Lu Tinglan thinks it's a pretty good deal: she gets a “wife” in the eyes of the law for free, without any responsibilities.
Shen Yan thinks it's fine too: she can appease her family and get back to making films.
They both think the marriage is just a contract, signed and stamped, then void when it expires.
But later, Lu Tinglan starts turning down nightclub invitations and staying in the living room to watch Shen Yan revise her scripts.
Later, she learns to make hangover soup, remembers Shen Yan takes her coffee without sugar, and brings late-night snacks to the set at three in the morning.
At last, they turn something “fake” into something real.
Then Lu Tinglan ruins it.
She keeps something from Shen Yan for a whole month.
The day Shen Yan leaves, she leaves her wedding ring on the bedside table, flies abroad, blocks Lu's number, and stops replying to her messages.
Lu Tinglan crouches outside her studio, sending the same message over and over: “Shen Yan, just kill me. I can't live without you.”
And so, Lu Tinglan, who has never taken anyone seriously, begins a truly serious campaign to win his wife back.
So far, I feel pretty good, but it's just "not double clean" (related to men, there is a description in the article of "not bringing home the little fresh meat"). The author could add "non-double cleanliness" in the introduction of the article. At first, I thought it was just about having a relationship with a girl, so I clicked in to read it. It was only halfway through that I realized that there was also an unclean relationship with a boy.
