I Was Supposed to Heal the Sick and Save Lives, But I Ended Up Controlling a Trillion-Yuan Stock Market

Xu Yiyang is a third-year clinical medicine student at Jiangshuo University. He’s had to retake anatomy for two years. He has only 2,000 yuan left in his pocket, and his roommate has even borrowed 200 from him. The girl he likes barely gives him the time of day. Hoping to win her favor, he pours his living expenses into the stock market. His 2,000 turns into 20,000, and the whole class starts calling him “Xu the God.” Even his crush begins to see him in a new light.

Then he uses leverage to chase a hot stock, never expecting it to be suspended for an investigation. Just when he’s at the end of his rope, a security guard in faded work clothes points at the clouds from the rooftop. “Doesn’t that look like a double bottom?”

From 2,000 yuan to 200 million, from the laughingstock of the whole university to the king of speculative capital.

The hands that should have been saving lives end up shearing retail investors on the A-share market.
