A book is like a pond. How wide its boundaries are depends on how much the author knows.
As you read this book, you can imagine yourself as a fish in the pond. That way, you can clearly see the author and everything they want to express.
But please don't actually turn yourself into a fish. A fish can only absorb a small portion of the nutrients in the pond's ecosystem, and how big it can grow depends on how vast a world the author has created. If you rise above the water, you can grow into a sweet flag, absorbing energy from both the pond and the air.
But in truth, you are neither a fish nor a sweet flag. You are a person, someone who can carve a path through mountains and build bridges over rivers, make planes that soar into the sky and sailboats that cross the water, reach the heavens above and dive into the ocean below. You are someone capable of creating infinite possibilities. You belong on the shore, not in the water.
Welcome to my pond. I hope that after exploring it, you will still remember that you are an individual capable of independent thought and discernment.
