[Two Male Leads + Transmigrate + One-on-One Romance + Sweet Romance + Cultivation]
Tang Qi transmigrated into the body of the Tang family's fourth young master in the Lower Continent, a “good-for-nothing” with a mixed bag of spiritual roots who was still stuck at the first level of Qi Refining at the age of fifteen.
He just wanted to lie flat, eat his fill, and wait to die. But then he picked up a “poor little thing” who was badly injured and had lost his memory.
The poor little thing was incredibly handsome, if a bit cold and quiet. He looked at people like they were stones by the roadside.
Tang Qi treated his injuries, refined pills and weapons, and drew talismans, using up every last bit of his savings.
Then one day, the Gu family from the Upper Continent arrived in force in the Lower Continent and fell to their knees before the “poor little thing” at Tang Qi's side. Trembling, they called out, “Young Master, the family head requests your return.”
Tang Qi: “...”
Gu Yanci was the sole heir to the Gu family, the greatest clan in the Upper Continent. Born with a sword bone and cold by nature, he had formed a core at fifteen. He was someone the entire Upper Continent looked up to.
During the time he'd lost his memory, this “good-for-nothing” from the Lower Continent had taken him in, fed him pills, dressed him in clothes he'd crafted himself, and hung a protective talisman he'd carved around his waist.
Gu Yanci lowered his eyes to look at Tang Qi, his voice indifferent. “I owe you. I'll repay you.”
Tang Qi waved him off. “No need, no need. Just go, and don't get me dragged into this.”
Later, people in the Upper Continent noticed that the Gu family's coldhearted young master always wore a rough protective talisman at his waist, had a cheap jade pendant from a Lower Continent market tied to his sword tassel, and used a pill furnace with a tiny character for “Qi” carved into its base whenever he refined pills in seclusion.
When someone asked, he replied simply, “Someone gave it to me. I can't throw it away.”
And that “someone” was in the Lower Continent, refining weapons and sighing.
It feels like Shou is brainless, and so is Gong. If you find anything, you have to ask about it. If someone gives you something, you can tell it is a good thing, so just shut up and accept it. If you insist on asking what is in it, it will be obvious to you, right? They just saved you and just met you. You're at your own home. You don't want to evade any attack. You just slapped me in the face with "I have a secret treasure". We just met. Let me ask you, you two have just met. You don't know whether the other person is bad or trustworthy. Are you really not afraid of others coming to rob you in the future? [Awkward laugh]
Let's not talk about the plot, but why the characters speak without quotation marks? Although I can understand it, it is very strange.
Looks good, just look at it
Is this kind of writing normal? It's very beautiful and the actual writing style is good.
There are no colons or double quotation marks in the dialogue. The whole text does not look like a novel, but like a composition 😂
It feels too bland, just like reading a chronicle (personal feeling). After reading dozens of chapters in a row, I can't figure out the emotional development between the protagonists.
