Heart-wrenching tragedy | Everyone sacrifices themselves | The heroine is the sole survivor | Ice powers + teleportation
The apocalypse descends and order collapses. In a world gone mad, six young men and women band together for warmth, fighting their way through mountains of corpses and seas of blood to carve out a path to survival.
Shen Qingwu is the most extraordinary member of the team.
Cool and aloof, with unmatched combat strength, she can freeze thousands of miles with her ice powers and vanish without a trace with her instantaneous movement. No matter how dangerous the battlefield, she can always protect the teammates behind her.
The six travel together. They are each other's weaknesses, and each other's only salvation.
They promised to endure the apocalypse together, wait for spring to return, and make it out of this living hell alive.
But the cruelest thing about the apocalypse isn't a city besieged by monsters or being trapped in a desperate situation. It's having a long road ahead and no one by your side.
One battle for survival after another, each time they risk their lives to protect one another.
The once lively team of six, who used to laugh and joke together, fall one by one before dawn arrives.
One takes a fatal blow meant for her. Another dies in a sea of corpses while covering their retreat. Someone else uses up every last bit of their power, burning away the final spark of life...
They give everything they have to leave Shen Qingwu the team's one chance at survival.
The final battle ends.
The smoke clears, leaving the land in ruins.
Her power to freeze all things remains, as does her ability to travel thousands of miles in an instant.
But when she looks back, the lively team of six who once fought by her side is gone. Every last one of them is dead, and none will ever return.
In this vast apocalypse, among the countless lives yet to be lived,
only Shen Qingwu remains, living alone in this world with the hopes and regrets of six people.
No one to share the dusk with, no one to ask which road leads home. The years ahead stretch endlessly, all filled with memories.
