[Not the Original Plot] + [No Female Lead] + [System] + [Farming and Leveling]
Huang Han (Huang Han loyalist) woke up one morning to find that he had become the most wronged demon in Journey to the West: the Yellow Lion Spirit.
The original Yellow Lion Spirit had kept to himself, eaten no humans, and done no evil. Yet he was manipulated in a calamitous tribulation, stole divine weapons, and ultimately met a gruesome end, killed and eaten.
This time, Huang Han refuses to accept his fate.
With a demon’s body and a human’s soul, his heart remains unchanged. He establishes the Great Ming Republic and lays down its first law: Demons must not eat, rob, or harm humans or any sentient beings. Violators will be executed.
As it happens, the “Harmony and Great Unity System” binds to him. As long as his territory remains peaceful and humans and demons coexist, he can collect Harmony Points every day and exchange them for cultivation methods, divine powers, formations, and spiritual treasures. But if evil runs rampant in his territory, his Harmony Points will plummet, and heavenly tribulation will strike him first.
And so, the world of Journey to the West gains a demon king unlike any other.
The Black Tiger Ridge demons are eating people? Execute them and make an example of the case.
The people at the foot of the mountain fear demons? Distribute food, register the residents, and open up trade routes.
The gods and Buddhas in the heavens treat demons like weeds? Then he’ll first conceal his plans from Heaven, strengthen his foundations, and expand his lands. When the calamitous tribulation begins, he’ll show them what it means for the law to reach everywhere and all demons to pledge their hearts to him.
Years later, Guanyin descends to find the Pilgrim, only to discover that Tang Sanzang has long since stopped chanting sutras at the temple. He has become a charming proprietor in Chang’an, the city that never sleeps.
From then on, the great calamity of Journey to the West goes completely off course.
Mark, novelty is novel, but some plots are a bit underpriced
The plots are all original and worth looking forward to 👍
