Great Tang's Top Scholar: The Princess Forces Me to Marry Her in Court

Hilarious + multiple female leads + love-triangle chaos + topsy-turvy gender roles

Li Mu, a modern corporate drone and master of the art of phoning it in, transmigrates as the Tang Dynasty's newly crowned top scholar. Just as he's preparing to embrace a laid-back life of “nine to five, then clock out,” the emperor's most favored Ninth Princess publicly corners him and demands that he marry her. Li Mu's alarm bells ring at once: become a royal son-in-law? That means handing over his salary card, giving up the right to take concubines, and bowing whenever he sees the princess! How could a top scholar like him put up with such humiliation?

And so, an uproarious “Anti-Princess Forced Marriage Alliance” takes shape in Chang'an, led by the Tang Dynasty's foremost anti-gaslighting scholar and joined by noblewomen, chivalrous maidens, and wealthy foreign beauties. He only wanted to become a minor official and enjoy some peace and quiet, but accidentally ended up stirring the romantic passions of the entire Tang Dynasty.
