System-driven + they journey toward each other + ancient setting + Western fantasy + modern world + plenty of sweetness
A Western fantasy game takes place in ancient times, then returns to the modern world. It covers quite a lot.
ᜊ•͈⌔•͈ᜊ Since no one read it, I ended it at 150,000 words.
I didn’t deliberately leave it unfinished. I’d only planned this much of the story, and since no one was reading, I decided not to pad it out.
[Synopsis with spoilers]
If I had to transmigrate, fine. But why is my husband the unreleased final boss from the game?
Even more absurdly, he has a terrifying hidden identity.
I’m poisoned, my health bar is almost empty, and the System is a low-health version too.
This is a hellish start.
But the powerhouse says he’s here, so I can just lie back and relax.
So we fight our way from the Northern Frontier to the capital, purifying corruption, rescuing the people, and facing off against his darkened “other self.”
When he says, “I’m going back with you,” I realize:
This transmigration was a great deal for me.
