A mischievous boy is “pressured” into trying basketball after eighth grade, and falls in love with the game. With guidance from a mysterious arcade owner and his own extraordinary talent, he gradually stands out among his peers. After an unexpected family crisis, the boy and girl, who might otherwise have drifted apart, meet again. The boy has changed and thrown himself into street basketball.
