Three Kingdoms: In Xuzhou, I Marry Lü Lingqi from the Start

Transmigrating to the first year of Jian'an, Liu Huan begins stranded in Xu Province. Because he looks just like Emperor Xian of Han, Lü Bu, who has just stolen Xu Province, forcibly abducts him.

Chen Gong offers a shocking, ruthless plan: “My lord, Cao the Villain is controlling the emperor to command the lords. Why don't we simply create a fake emperor and claim that the one in Cao's hands is an impostor?”

So Liu Huan is forced into imperial robes and saddled with the tigress Lü Lingqi as his empress.

He assumes that sticking with Lü Bu will eventually get him hanged at White Gate Tower. To save his own skin, Liu Huan can only use his modern knowledge to “reform” his cheap father-in-law in the opposite direction.

“Father-in-law, that's not how you fight a war. Watch me use a chain of stratagems!”

“Gao Shun, the Trapped Battalion is hopelessly outdated. Let me teach you what special forces are!”

Six months later, everything gets turned on its head.

Liu Bei arrives, takes one look, and bursts into tears. “Your Majesty is a man of extraordinary talent! This is the true dragon of the Han!” He immediately prostrates himself with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei.

The finest generals and strategists in the land pledge their loyalty, and Xu Province's “Fake Han” grows ever stronger, shaking the realm.

Far away in Xuchang, Cao Cao looks at the “true emperor” in his hands, who cries every day and meekly agrees with everything, and falls into deep self-doubt.

Cao Cao breaks down. “Could Li Jue really have switched them back then? The one I went to all that trouble to bring back is actually a freaking fake?!”
