Late Autumn, White Again

[Gentle, restrained older pursuer & sweet, seemingly innocent but secretly cunning partner]

[Older/younger romance, the one who got away, showbiz, secret crush, mutual devotion, both each other's first and only, rekindled romance, healing, amnesia, a secondary couple, happy ending]

The snow of Beicheng and the rain of Nancheng weave together the bond between Lin Wanqiu and Jiang Xubai, spanning more than a decade.

As a child, Lin Wanqiu was a left-behind kid, isolated in a corner. Jiang Xubai was the wealthy young master who entered his life.

Jiang Xubai's gentleness and indulgence became the only light in Lin Wanqiu's life. Then a flood swept away their memories and separated them, leaving them worlds apart.

Years later, they reunited and fell in love, but their happiness was brief. A car accident left Jiang Xubai with amnesia and a disability, while Lin Wanqiu was framed and consumed by guilt, believing he was a jinx. Afraid of holding his lover back, he quietly disappeared.

During their six years apart, Lin Wanqiu was tormented by severe depression. He self-harmed, lost his appetite, and lived in fantasies of Jiang Xubai, until he was physically and emotionally exhausted.

After recovering, Jiang Xubai relentlessly searched for him and brought him back. Faced with the scars covering his lover's body, he used endless patience and companionship to hold him together through every breakdown, telling him again and again, “I love you.”

From Beicheng to New Zealand, Lin Wanqiu slowly pieced himself back together through day after day of healing.

At last, amid falling snow and gentle morning light, they crossed the pain between them and walked toward each other's proposal rings, completing a long journey of mutual salvation.
