What should you do if you transmigrate into Empresses in the Palace as a lowly palace maid who sweeps and scrubs?
Lin Niannian plans to keep her head down until Zhen Huan becomes empress dowager, then stick around for a nice pension.
Until one day, while emptying the night soil, she sees a eunuch roll his eyes and charge straight at her.
Lin Niannian thinks this makes no sense! Nobody told her Empresses in the Palace would have a zombie apocalypse!
The harem descends into chaos.
Lin Niannian kicks open the doors to every palace and shouts to the consorts, "Stop crying! If you want to live, grab a blade and follow me!"
From then on, life takes a new turn:
Zhen Huan becomes the CEO of logistics,
Consort Hua becomes an iron-fisted female general,
An Lingrong becomes the chief poisoner,
and Ye Lanyi becomes the apocalypse’s greatest warrior.
Lin Niannian teaches the consorts how to smash zombie heads and spreads the idea of gender equality.
[Zhen Huan]: "The old world had a cage that bound us, called the harem. In the new world, we can set foot anywhere under Heaven."
[Consort Hua]: "Who says women can’t train soldiers? Brothers of the Nian Army, follow me and fight!"
[An Lingrong]: "What’s the point of competing for favor? The repellent incense I brewed makes even zombies go around us!"
[Ye Lanyi]: "A fifth-tier zombie? Bring it here. I need a sparring partner."
[The Empress]: "In this world, surviving is what makes you truly strong!"
The emperor, meanwhile, quietly abdicates: "You win. I give up."
The harem here is no longer a bloodbath of women competing against one another.
Everyone is building a career.
Watch Lin Niannian lead the consorts in slaying zombies and building a kingdom of women, ushering in a whole new era for women!
