Commander, Stop Pretending. You Weren't Like This Last Night

[Young Widow vs. Cold, Reserved Military Officer + Putting Villains in Their Place + Adorable Kids + Sweet Romance + Family Life + Everyday Moments]

Everyone said Su Yingying was a jinx. She brought misfortune not only to her parents but also to her husband, supposedly causing her parents’ deaths at birth and her husband’s death after their marriage.

Just as Su Yingying is caught in bed with another man, memories of her role as a cannon-fodder supporting character awaken.

It turns out she’s merely the evil ex-wife in a pampered-wife romance novel.

Her husband is the male lead, and he never died in action or went missing. He’s currently living as the commander’s live-in son-in-law.

She, meanwhile, gets caught cheating because she can’t bear the loneliness, and is forever branded with shame.

In the book, she not only sleeps around, but even her two children aren’t her husband’s.

Su Yingying refuses to be a cannon-fodder ex-wife.

She exposes her mother-in-law’s lies, reclaims her dowry, sells the house, and takes the children to the military district to find their real father.

At the military district, she runs into her missing ex-husband, Chen Shimei. Not only does he want to harm her, he also smears her name.

She exposes her scumbag ex, puts the man-stealing green tea in her place, and sets out to find the children’s father and make him take responsibility.

Huh? Why does her brother-in-law call her “sister-in-law” in public but “baby” in private?

And why is he aloof and abstinent in front of others, but secretly flirtatious and devious?

He even says the kids are his!

Her scumbag ex sees Su Yingying with a pregnant belly: You were sleeping around? Whose kid is it?

Three months later, Su Yingying goes for a prenatal checkup and runs into her scumbag ex at the andrology clinic, where he’s seeking treatment for infertility.
