Thanks for the invite. I’m in the Three Kingdoms, just transmigrated, and currently hacking Cao Cao to death.
Where do people go when they die? Others may not know, but Yang Wei got his answer: back to work.
Just as a happy life was about to begin, Yang Wei was struck by an otherworldly reincarnation device. When he woke up, he found himself on horseback, with a System telling him to livestream himself killing Cao Cao.
They say you have no choice in the martial world. After Yang Wei finally completed the mission, the System teleported him to some company spanning countless worlds and told him, “You’re a streamer now! Get to work!” It even tossed him a status screen.
To his bewilderment, there was more than one System. After evaluating his abilities, the second one showed its disdain and tossed him two skills.
Yang Wei had thought he was heaven’s chosen one, but before he could start congratulating himself, he learned that every one of the company’s wage slaves had their own status screen and could freely allocate their attribute points. He was the only one with no choices at all, thanks to the skills assigned by the second System.
Luckily, although the System handed out its boons “equally,” it still had a conscience of sorts: he could earn more attribute points than anyone else. So all he could do was invite everyone to admire the beauty of his numbers.
As for why death didn’t bring him some furry spirit with an ox’s or horse’s head, but instead another life as a wage slave, what the company really was, and whether he could ever return to the world of the living, he would have to uncover the truth himself.
Can you please stop making a bunch of numerical values that take up a lot of words?
