A timid, desperate-to-survive office worker vs. a cold-blooded, antisocial serial-killer psychopath
Bad news: Li Li transmigrated into a book.
Good news: It was a book she had written herself.
Bad news: Everyone in the book was a rabid lunatic. The villain was a psychopath who had committed a hundred serial murders, utterly devoid of humanity and obsessed with gouging people's eyes out on their birthdays.
Faced with the tragic fate awaiting her, Li Li made up her mind at once
Run. She had to run!
But her enemy was too powerful, and she was too weak. With no other choice, she set her sights on the main villain and begged him to take her with him.

Li Li knew exactly how twisted the villain was, so she was always on edge, afraid she'd anger him, get her eyes gouged out, and wind up as part of his collection.
As it turned out, her fears weren't unfounded.
He had already seen through her lies, her fear, and her disgust.
Where she couldn't see him, his cold, damp gaze lingered on her, as if she were a perfect vessel, a dying lamb, and he was simply waiting until he tired of playing with her before taking those obsidian-black eyes and turning them into specimens.
But he never expected his next visitor to be an accomplice.
That day, he lay in a pool of blood, barely alive. Above him, the night in the Western District was as stifling and chaotic as ever, the air rank with the stench of corpses and garbage.
He wasn't surprised that she had left him behind and run, just as he wasn't surprised by this disgusting world.
The act had gone on long enough. It was time for the curtain to fall.
But just as he was about to get up, he saw her return. Using the stance she'd learned from him, she held a gun awkwardly, forcing herself to stay calm as she stood in front of him.
For the first time in his life, he felt confused.
And something else…
A tremor.
