[Wuthering Waves] [Rover]
You can read this even if you don’t know Wuthering Waves. Chapter 11 introduces some of the world’s background.
Rover, I know you’ve saved many people. Rover, I know you’re strong.
But you couldn’t give that girl who fell alone into the abyss a chance.
You couldn’t even get that suffering, broken vessel a birthday cake.
You reached the battlefield during the war two hundred years ago, and still, far too many people died.
You’ve saved many people, but there are so many you couldn’t save. You’re strong, but not strong enough.
I want you to save those who are suffering. I want you to become stronger.
I want you to have a pair of whole wings. I want you to have a scythe capable of destroying anything.
I want your sword to cleave the sea. I want to see you wear the mech suit called “Singulum.” I want to make you the master of time in my story
Would that be enough? No, it wouldn’t. I am you.
I want to leave deep fist marks on those ugly, infuriating faces.
I want to witness more of the wonderful stories the world has to offer.
And more than that, I want to answer feelings that are more than just friendship
There’s too much divinity, yet you can’t truly save the world like a god.
Then why not have a little more humanity? Fight with abandon, curse with abandon, hate! Love!
If there’s one thing I say more than anything else, it’s this
“Leave the rest to me.”
It feels very similar to the plot
