I've read more than half of it, it's a great book. The author's writing style is very good, and he describes the lust, dignity, power, and helplessness of the eunuch (eunuch). Almost every character has his own characteristics, and their love is a specific love spawned in a specific environment, which is poignant and moving. The group of portraits is full, and the words are spoken slowly one by one, like a prose poem.
I can only say that it is absolutely amazing. I have been rewatching it for several years. I recommend watching the uncut version. I really like it.
Some bad reviews, but I still like this author's other work, which is not so dark!
